How is AR formula different from comfort formula?
AR formulas are thickened to help with spit-up. Comfort formulas are aimed at gas, colic and constipation. HA formulas use partially hydrolyzed protein. We carry all three types.
Do I prepare AR formula differently?
Often, yes. Some AR formulas need specific water temperatures or mixing steps, and the thicker formula may need a faster-flow nipple. Always follow the instructions on the tin.
Should I talk to my doctor first?
Yes. Some spit-up is normal for babies. If your baby spits up a lot, seems uncomfortable or isn’t gaining weight, talk with your pediatrician before switching formulas.
